How are your products made?

Our manufacturers make each order on-demand after your order is placed. This gives BMS a low risk opportunity to be more creative and better gauge what designs are the most desired. As BMS grows and we will invest in more inventory to reduce shipping time while keeping great quality!

Exact design colors are not guaranteed as every computer screen and phone displays differently.

Are your products eco-friendly?

All inks for non-all over print designs are water-based and eco-friendly.

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.

The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash. If the discoloration is expected to be noticeable, the quality control team will include a card explaining that it's from the fixation agent.

How should I clean my shirts and hoodies?:

We recommend machine washing in cold water with like colors.  Tumble dry low, but hang dry works best. Do not bleach. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners, or dry-clean the items.

Turn your apparel inside out before washing to preserve the life of your graphic.

When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Do not iron the print.

Loose ends are completely normal on any shirt. We do not recommend cutting them! Try knotting them instead and any extra string past the knot can be cut off safely.

How should I clean my hats?

The best way to clean your caps is to hand-wash them instead of placing them in a washing machine. This will help with retaining their shape and won't diminish the quality of the embroidered design.

We recommend you wash them with a mild detergent (not bleach), in lukewarm water. If there are any spots that require more attention, then you can use a brush with soft bristles.

You can also check with the manufacturer (check the tag or brim sticker) directly or search YouTube for other recommendations.
